Vincent Warratz

Vincent Warratz was born on March 29, 1998 in Karlsruhe. He received his first trombone lessons at the age of eight at the Neureut Music School. From 2009 he was taught by Prof. Werner Schrietter, initially privately and between 2012 and 2016 as a young student at the Karlsruhe University of Music. From 2016 to 2020 he studied music with a major in trombone at the Karlsruhe University of Music, initially with Prof. Werner Schrietter and, after his retirement, with his successor Prof. Brandt Attema. A move in the winter semester of 2020/21 to the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in the class of Prof. Oliver Siefert completed his studies and he completed his studies in artistic instrumental training there with distinction in July 2021.

Since the 2019/2020 season, he has been helping out at major opera houses such as the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Saarland Staatstheater Saarbrücken, the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Stadttheater Gießen.

Vincent Warratz is currently studying secondary school teaching with a focus on music and geography at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University and the University of Music in Frankfurt am Main.
